This memorial stone at Wesley by the Sea was placed in memory of Elsie Libby and reads, “The Preachers’ Aid Society of New England and the Maine Council of Churches remember with gratitude the gift of the land by Elsie L. Libby.  Her generous gifts and bequests contributed to decades of ministry within and beyond the Christian churches of Maine, including this retirement community for United Methodist clergy.”
