A present passion is Contemplative Prayer and how that can deepen our lives. He is presently enrolled in a Shalem program on this passion. He was in one of the first classes from The Academy of Preaching and later participated in the Academy for Spiritual Formation. Known for his story telling Carroll shares the desire to tell the story of Preachers' Aid. “Early in my ministry in New Hampshire, the Preachers' Aid extended a helping hand to our family, and over the years I have seen it touch many lives. I am grateful for a way to pay back what it has done for me. I look forward to being invited to preach and following the services to share some of the news about Preachers' Aid with people in the local church.
