Rev. Jon Almond is our Representative on the RISEM District.

Jon holds a B.A. in History from Ohio Wesleyan University and a M.Div. from The Methodist Theological School in Ohio. He has served churches in the East Ohio and New England Conferences under appointment for forty years. He retired in July 2008 from Mathewson Street United Methodist Church in Providence, RI. He is a recipient of the Wilbur Ziegler Award for Excellence in Preaching (1994). He is a watercolor painter, plays the flute and raises Dahlias. Jon and his wife Nora are proud parents of five children and grandparents of five grandchildren. They both love great adventures and traveling.
