Rev. Phil Polhemus is our Representative on the New Hampshire District.

Phil is a native of New Hampshire and has spent most of his 40 years of service being a pastor in New Hampshire with a brief and very enjoyable pastorate in Maine. He is also a third generation Methodist pastor so he could be called a birthright Methodist. Beyond being a local pastor he has two passions. One is our conference camping program and the other is developing visual media to be used in the local church.

“When asked to represent the Preachers' Aid Society to local congregations, I thought what a great way to spread the good word of the work of the Society. I have been a recipient of the benefits of the Society when I was active and now as a retired pastor. This is a great way to pay back what they have done for me and to pay forward what it does for others.”
